We partner with some wonderful local organizations who work to meet some of the greatest needs of Los Angeles. Vintage sends teams of volunteers, led by a Vintage host, to serve our partners at various events. By volunteering together as a church, community is built and, most importantly, some of the most vulnerable in our city are served with the love of Christ.
You can volunteer as part of a Vintage team (serving with other members of the Vintage community, led by a Vintage team leader) or if you want to invest with a higher level of commitment, there are many ways to get involved individually by offering your unique skills and talents.
Salvation Army is devoted to “Loving LA” by providing basic human needs like food, clothing, relationship and hope.
We run the Love LA outreach dinners in partnership with The Salvation Army each Thursday night. We also get involved by caring for seniors and vulnerable families on the west side. We offer assistance by the giving of resources (for example supporting a Christmas gift drive each year)
Community, Dinner, Prayer
Every Thursday night, a group of Vintage volunteers provide a welcoming space to love our neighbors experiencing homelessness in Santa Monica. We prepare and serve 100 nutritious hot meals, offer a space for prayer, art and clothing/hygiene. Our desire is to build community with our guests, while meeting some of their basic needs.

7:30pm – 9:15pm – Shift 2
1533 4th St, Santa Monica, CA 90401
Roles include: Prepping food, cleaning, dishes, clothing/hygiene organization, praying with guests, running the arts table, chatting with guests over dinner.

This is a list of items that we regularly need to run our weekly outreach. This includes items to build hygiene kits as well as socks, blankets and other items. Join the Vintage team as we serve the city of Compton by bringing hope and restoration through this beautification event. We will join with others from churches and organizations across LA to work on projects such as painting a local school, murals, nearby homes and block-clean ups.
The Vintage team will serve together at the same worksite, this is a great way to build community with others at the church, while serving our neighbors in Compton.
